Wall Framing Illustration for 20x36 Building

Illustration shows the stud layout for framing the walls of the 20x36 garage. The 36"x24" window rough opening if sized to our current vinyl window chart is 36 1/2"x23 1/2" as a framing size. Remember to add your 3" for the header if your building style uses a single trimmer. The entry door is a 38" wide opening and the garage doors are 9' x 8' - With a single trimmer the header is 111", with a double 114" works well. You may also purchase a long glue lam to span the entire front wall.
